We do not allow any form of advertising for commercial establishments, personal services or self-advertising (Personals ads) WITHOUT PERMISSION. Only members with permission can advertise at malaysianqatar.com Members may not use discussions to recommend, praise, or belittle other products, services, or any web sites without first hand experience of those products, services or web sites.
Do not spam other members through private messages or any other way on the forum. You may not use the forum or private messaging to solicit members to come to your website or offer any products or services or for any other reason unless the member has specifically requested the information. If you receive any private messages or come across any message that you suspect may be spam please report it to a moderator or admin. The following are a few examples of what is considered spam. Very short posts that do not add value to the current post. Example: a post with only the words, “i dunno”, “lol cool”, “hmmmm”, “Hi!”, “oh well”, etc, can be considered spam. Double Posting. A double post is a back to back post by the same person. The second post may be considered spam. If you make a post and realize that you have made a mistake please use the edit option to request moderators/admins to "remove topic". There are few exceptions to this, and it us up to the moderators discretion. Posts that serve no purpose other than to up ones post count are considered spam. For example, if someone asks a question and you reply just to say you don't know the answer, this will be considered spam. All meaningness posts or posts with a bad intention will be removed. All spams will be removed with or without notice.
Pointed comments, hurling of insults and libelous references to any person is strictly disallowed. Criticize ideas, not people. Do not abuse your freedom of speech! Even if this is just your own personal opinion, RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS ! We take the "Be Polite" rule very seriously! We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
Your postings in the public forums will become public. Your text will be available to anyone with an internet connection. All personal or sensitive information collected from members including names, email addresses, user logs, etc, will be kept confidential and will not be released to anyone without the consent of the member. However, we reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. "Cookies" are used to facilitate "auto-login" and members' preferences. We DO NOT use cookies to gather or store sensitive information of members. Moderators and admin reserve the right to read, trace, record all IP addresses, user logs, user stats for site administration, maintenance and security purposes. Again, we do not release these information to anyone. Everything will be kept confidential. Except under the circumstances of severe threats and security problems, moderators and admin DO NOT read private messages (pm) of members. Members are not allowed to state the real name, self-picture, contact number, home address, place of work or other sensitive information of another private individual without his/her prior consent. The only exception to this rule is when such information has been revealed by that individual him/herself or by a national media, e.g. newspaper or television.

While Admin usually inform members in advance on any scheduled maintenance, but it is not a must. All technical questions should be posted at the “General Discussion” forum.
Do practice common sense when choosing a username. Do not use names that are inappropriate and offensive.
All unauthorized access to ANY parts of our community (i.e. private forums, admin/mod accounts, portal software, etc) is considered a CRIME! We will take legal action against all violators.
Bad members, meaning members with bad intention (i.e. aiming to create discomfort, nuisance, and do harms to our community) and suspicious behaviors will be closely monitored and may be banned without notice. The moderators/admin have the rights to dispose the names of the suspecious or banned members to the public. This serves to warn others about these suspicious members in our community. We exercise zero-tolerance and will take all necessary actions against all suspicious members and members whose intention is to do harms in our community.
Public discussions of moderators and Admins' actions are not allowed on this community. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, posts and signatures. This includes making meaningless postings or writing nice poems to protest and express dissatisfaction against the moderators and admins. Any decisions made by any moderator or Admin are final and not subject to discussions or questioning. All forum rules and policies are final, no one is allowed to challenge the rules and policies.
